We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Fundraising Director for the Columbus, GA & Pike, AL territory. Primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with AHA corporate partners and selling sponsorships for the annual Heart Walk and Heart Ball. Responsibilities Include: . Setting and meeting aggressive fundraising goals . Securing event sponsorships and individual donations . Recruiting, coaching and motivating Heart Walk teams . Recruiting and coaching volunteer committee members . Interacting with executive level business and community leaders . Daily travel throughout the designated territory. Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years prior outside business-to-business sales and/or fundraising experience. Must be an effective communicator and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Preference to be given to those with prior professional fundraising experience and/or knowledge of the local business market.
