Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Consulting Network Security Engineer- Remote. Responsible for interfacing directly with end-users and vendors to assess, recommend, design, and implement network security solutions and technologies. Manages the development and maintenance of network security design standards. Evaluates and recommends new technologies as they relate to the businesses network security strategy. Reviews proposed changes and risks to the security environment.

o Cisco IOS configuration
o Topologies (i.e., Ethernet, Wireless 802.11 A, B, G, N 802.16 D & E)
o Protocols (i.e., TCP/IP)
o Network Management architecture and configuration within management platforms such as Solarwinds and LogicMontor.
o Routing; RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and Static Routes
o Telco (i.e., T1/Private Line, Frame Relay, MPLS, ISDN (BRI/PRI), Broadband)
Travel: 10% or less
Qualifications:
Education: A network engineering degree, telecom engineer degree, or BS/BE degree in computer science, cybersecurity or related IT fields, or equivalent experience.
Licenses/Certification: One or more required, with preference given toward technical certifications: CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, CCSA, PCNSE, PCCSE, FCNSP, GCSE, GCNE, ANEA, ANSA, SSCP, CEH, OSCP, CCSE
Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience as a Network Security Engineer in a large-scale inter-network environment with proven complex network design experience.
