We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment Operator to our passionate team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!
What You'll Do:
- Operate mobile equipment during tree pruning and removals.
- Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients.
Including but not limited to:
- Operate tractors, excavation equipment, stump grinders, log trucking equipment and more
- Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy
- Installation of cables, bracing and lightening protection systems
- Transport necessary equipment to local job sites in theimmediate, localarea
- Removal of hazardous trees
- Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
- Be part of the most progressive greenspace stewardship team in the industry!
What We're Looking For:
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Required: Valid driver's license
- Required: Class A CDL
- Preferred: Relevant tree care and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
