Staffmark is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our premier client in Nashville, TN! No prior experience is necessary - we're looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This is a direct hire opportunity with promising career and financial growth prospects!


Salary: $37,440/yearly


Fantastic Schedules: 6 am-3:30 pm, 12-hour rotating shifts


As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll be responsible for all equipment repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime in production operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


Key skills and abilities include:

  • Assisting in the repair and maintenance of various motor types and voltages
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics
  • Troubleshooting PLC controls
  • Basic understanding of raw material feeder systems
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in basic welding techniques for minor repairs or fabrication
  • Flexibility to work outside regular schedules when necessary
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Eagerness to acquire new job skills and maintain a safety-conscious mindset
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities
