Vice President Commercial Solutions-Bilingual Korean/English

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the strategy and execution of the client program. This is an executive-level position responsible for the commercial strategy and development of the business through sales to drive business growth and market share. The General Manager will take ownership of the client partnership and the customer making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.

While developing and implementing commercial strategies, the General Manager must ensure alignment with the company's objectives and fulfil its annual budget goals. This includes having a strong commercial background in sales and other corporate office rotations. The General Manager must have a history of growing sales and market share. A demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products and deliver on financial objectives is required.

The General Manager will collaborate with the client and Amplity internal key stakeholders including Finance, Compliance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Technology, and the Senior Leadership team. The General Manager will partner with the client to set the strategic vision and execution.

The General Manager will:

  • Establish realistic and achievable goals and implement strategies to meet them
  • Proactively analyze and lead the day-to-day performance metrics and activities related to all objectives
  • Have oversight of the commercial field and remote sales team motivating and assessing their performance
  • Develop profit for the company and provide financial and revenue support to the program
  • Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and create a strong sense of shared goals among team members.
  • Effectively manage budgets, collaboration internally and externally for overall program success
  • Evaluate leadership performance and metrics, workload and outputs while ensuring compliance with policies and processes and addressing issues through corrective action process as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and engage/work with Compliance to resolve issues and follow up with disciplinary action when needed.
  • Ensure that our colleagues fully comply with all laws, regulations and policies, code of conduct, terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements, PDMA, Guidelines, and all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA Degree from an accredited university required
  • Master's Degree a plus
  • Bi-Lingual Korean/English
  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • 18+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience with a steady progression of career progression of increased responsibility,15+ years preferred
  • National pharmaceutical leadership experience required
  • Prior launch experience with recent national product launch experience preferred
  • Corporate office rotation, marketing, operations, VP experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to create and deliver professional and impactful presentations
  • Successful track record recruiting, hiring, managing, building high performing teams for both individual and management roles
  • Full understanding of industry regulations and compliance
  • Strong ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and well-rounded background working with multiple divisions within the pharmaceutical organization
  • Energetic drive to succeed motivating others to overachieve
  • Experience developing business plans and delivering to customers, senior leadership, and direct reports
  • Track record of success meeting and exceeding sales/ performance goals
  • Must be able to successfully complete client training and meet training expectations to proceed to leading the team within the parameters of the program.
  • Willingness to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend).
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and digital meeting platforms including Teams, Zoom etc.
  • Residence near major airport living in Eastern or Central time zone preferred
