Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Business Development Manager to work in our Phoenix, AZ office. This Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting our operations team and developing new business and client management to support our regional offices. As well as Represents the firm in client presentations and business meetings as a qualified liaison for clients and sub-consultants.


Responsibilities

  • Represents Colliers Engineering & Design services to clients to support the growth of business for the Company.
  • Acts with integrity and accountability to provide quality, reliable and valuable services and represents the Company in a positive manner.
  • Develop a business plan to target new clients and expand our reach within our existing clients to support the growth of the geographic region you support.
  • Research's new clients, via networking, Internet, documents, and interviews. Uses company "lead" services, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and other generally available means to conduct research and support forecasting upcoming business opportunities, as well as pre-positioning and partnering on specific opportunities.
  • Manages and maintains existing client relationships the employee has established.
  • Facilitates client presentations (i.e., answer questions, provide supporting documents, schedules follow-up meetings).
  • Follows-up on employee led BD activities resulting from presentations between clients, CED staff and partnering companies.
  • Supports and trusts team members to leverage collective strengths and contributes valuable ideas, opinions and feedback.
  • Acts as a liaison between clients and partnering companies concerning problems or concerns.
  • Collaborates and supports in-house staff concerned with new business, including support of staff pursuing work. This includes coordination and support of marketing for proposal related activities.
  • Assists and supports leadership with various activities to support growth including strategic planning and marketing related functions review and improvement (i.e., website, social media, etc).
  • Leads client outreach and coordinates with our appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Manages communications with all parties involved with employee led presentations.
  • Develops positive relationships with new clients.
  • Communicates well with a wide range of occupational levels.
  • Represents the firm in a professional, upstanding manner.
  • Supports the Marketing team as required to enhance and improve company related marketing, messaging, social media and website presence.
  • Develops contact information for new clients and utilize Unanet (CRM tool) to track contact information and related sales activities.
  • Attends trade shows, political and social activities when required.
  • Coordinate seminars to help brand CED professionals as experts within the industry.
  • Plans networking receptions at industry conferences when appropriate budgeting permits.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Engineering or other applicable design or science field.
  • Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Qualified candidates must have 10+ years of experience working in the AEC or related industries
