PRIMARY PURPOSE: To ensure accuracy of financial data; to maintain and analyze data; to prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries and general ledger (GL) account reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Reconciles sub-ledgers to GL; prepares monthly journal entries and GL accounts.
  2. Assists in month-end close and consolidation process, financial report and audit process.
  3. Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as directed.
  4. Maintains and analyzes balance sheet accounts and ensures they are accurately stated; conducts timely account reconciliations.
  5. Performs client audits and reporting.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs other duties as assigned.

2. Supports the Total Performance Management initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Licensing:
BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred. Accounting courses preferred. Each year of experience beyond the requirement equates to one (1) year of post secondary education.

Experience:
Four (4) years accounting and/or financial analysis experience required. AS/AA degree may substitute for one (1) year experience; BS/BA degree may substitute for two (2) years experience; MS/MA degree may substitute for three (3) years experience.
