The Nashville Teaching Fellows program is seeking a select group of outstanding professionals to use their math skills to teach middle and high school students in Metro Nashville’s most challenged schools.


On the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP), which tests students' skills in reading and math, only 27% of the students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade scored at or above proficiency in math. Among secondary students, less than 40% scored at or above proficiency in math. What is the formula for solving this problem? Use your skills and talents to become a math teacher in Nashville, TN.



Secondary math classes in Metro Nashville Public Schools range from basic math skill classes to core subjects such as Algebra and Geometry to more advanced subjects such as Calculus.
