PRIMARY PURPOSE: To communicate standard bank offerings to clients, brokers, carriers and company program managers; to coordinate establishment of new client bank accounts; to provide direction to local offices and banking colleagues; and to perform escrow reviews as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Communicates standard bank offerings to clients, brokers, carriers and company program managers as required, including participation on New Client Implementation teams.

  2. Provides day-to-day direction and leadership to local offices and banking colleagues.

  3. Serves as liaison for clients, implementation managers, program managers, carriers, banking partners, check printing vendors, and Corporate IT colleagues to establish new bank accounts.

  4. Maintains required documentation for authorized signers on existing bank accounts.

  5. Works with clients, banks and local office to identify and resolve problems.

  6. Maintains and confirms client/carrier escrow balances in loss fund accounts managed by the Company.

  7. Creates and maintains database of escrow balances by bank account and retains confirmation letters signed by client/carrier.

  8. Calculates escrow requirements annually (and as needed) based on actual loss activity and notifies client/carrier of adjustment needs.

  9. Responsible for maintaining and confirming client/carrier escrow balances in loss fund accounts managed by the Company.

  10. Analyzes historical bank account activity of client/carrier to uncover and identify shortfalls in the initial deposit balance; explains differences to client/carrier.

  11. Responsible for collecting and maintaining appropriate documentation in client files supporting the implementation set-up and escrow requirements.

  12. Manages the external confirmation process for clients' escrow balances.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

  2. Supports the total performance management initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Licensing
BS/BA degree strongly preferred. Courses in accounting, finance or banking preferred.


Experience
Three (3) years of experience in banking, accounting or related business required.
