Job Qualifications:

Graduate degree in health or human services or related field, and currently enrolled in a doctoral or similar advanced graduate degree program in counseling, social work, adult education, or a related field. At least 1 year experience in applied behavioral health, preferably in a teaching or training capacity, or other relevant experience. Knowledge or interest in developing advanced experiences in simulation education initiatives within a community mental health agency setting. Summary of Job:

This is an unpaid graduate intern position, which will be mostly or entirely remote. The Clinical Education Doctoral Intern will lead and/or support the design, delivery, implementation, and management of curricula within the Centerstone Center for Simulation in Behavioral Health. The SIM Center is an Enterprise-wide hub for the delivery of clinical training in evidence-based psychotherapy models that align with Centerstone high priority clinical and grant-based projects. The Clinical Education Doctoral Intern will facilitate and support the development and delivery of simulation and immersion-based curricula, along with other related tasks. The Clinical Education Doctoral Intern will work closely with the Manager of Simulation Education. Remote work is a significant component of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of simulation-related trainings
  • Participate in the implementation and management of clinical education goals including but not limited to IRB submission, principal investigator communication, participant screening, accrual and follow-up, informed consents, monitor visits, case report form submissions, and reporting of severe adverse events
  • Supports enrolling learners onto the online learning portal through screening, enrollment and follow up of eligible learners
  • Assist with the scheduling of standardized patient sessions
  • Support in video reviews for standardized patient sessions
  • Maintains accurate and complete records including regulatory documents when applicable, signed informed consent forms, source documentation, subject logs and study-related communications
  • Prepare internal and external reports in a timely and accurate manner; provide ongoing reports for program improvement and facilitate the utilization of information by decision makers.
